DESCRIPTION:
The airfield of Genk/Zwartberg was founded in 1957. The main goal of the aero club Limburgse Vleugels is to promote aviation in all it's forms. From Model Flying to gliding, parachutism and motorised flying.
The airfield is home to the aeroclub which includes a gliderflying club and a model-flying and also hosts a parajumping club. Furthermore it houses a helicopter of Helifly which is used for helicopter instruction, as well as a number of private aircraft.
